youthThe main aim of the research project has been to get a comprehensive overview of current practices of labour market integration of young people and to identify best practices to improve young people’s pathways to work in the future.

The project provided a quantitative and qualitative analysis in the 25 European countries and in the two acceding ones (Romania and Bulgaria), since 2000.

It asked which kinds of youth employment structure changes have interested these 27 European countries in these last years.

The field of analysis concerned the identification, study and analysis of existing best practices in Europe for a better employability of young people, taking the “flexicurity” as transversal guidelines for all the research phases.

The project has been financed by the European Commission – DG Employment and Social Policy, and lasted 15 months starting from December 2006.

The projet has been promoted by ISFOL (Italy) in co-operation with CESOS, CERES and MELIUS srl for Italy and with NTF – National Training Fund (Czech Republic) and Godollo University (Hungary).
