ICT Skills2

ict skills2The ICT Skills 2 project framed a standard professional profile, shared at a transnational level, for LLL practitioners delivering services to their clients through the use of the ICT: the e-practitioner profile.

An open source platform has been designed and a sample of LLL practitioners of all partner countries ahad free access to it, having the opportunity to

–  Identify and valorise their ICT competences acquired within formal, informal and non-formal contexts thanks to the use of an on-line tool for the skills assessment;

–  Acquire new competences necessary to carry out LLL activities with users through the use of the ICT;

–  Undergo specific training thanks to a specific modular and flexible training path that will be delivered in blended learning in the partner countries within training pilots;

– Use an e-portfolio with the aim to capture the performance, the standard of learning, the process of learning, the choice, the different models of learning, reasons and the motivations, the made progress and the learning context for an individual skills assessment.

The project ICT Skills 2: ICT tools and training for e-practitioners has been financed by the European Commission within the new Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013, Transversal programme ICT. The project lasted 2 years from 1st November 2007 to 31st October 2009.
