Who are we

                

FRANCESCA TORLONE Since 2000 she has been carrying out research and project planning and management activities both at a national and transnational level in the fields of guidance, training, education and labour market. She has been member of the working group on Adult Learning of the European Commission, General Direction Education and Culture.From 2000 to 2003 she worked for the National Resource Centre for Vocational Guidance (NRCVG) of the Euroguidance network (www.euroguidance.net) that had been coordinated till then by the Emilia-Romagna Regional Authority on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Labour and managed by the organisation ASTER s. cons. p.a. in Bologna. In particular:

  • She developed several information materials to support mobility in Europe for studying and working reasons.
  • She took part in the implementation of Ploteus – Portal on Learning Opportunities Throughout the EUropean Space, the European portal supported by the European Commission and managed by the members of the Euroguidance network in order to improve the mobility of young people within the EU countries.
  • She coordinated and took part in European projects on mobility issues together with other members of the Euroguidance network.
  • She was a speaker in international conferences on issues concerning the mobility within Europe for educational and working reasons.

From 2003 to 2006 she kept on the project planning, management and research activities within the organisation ASTER s. cons. p.a. (Guidance and Employment Unit)  where she made a thorough study of issues related to guidance, lifelong learning and certification of formal and informal competences.

Cristina left us today, after a long and painful fight. Together with all her friends and colleagues we remember her great competence and professionality, and her creativity, coordination and collaboration skills, but most of all her generosity.

She has been carrying out research, project planning and management in the vocational guidance, employment and transnational mobility fields since 1994.              She worked in Spain from 1994 to 1998 at Fundación Universidad-Empresa in Madrid where she was mainly in charge with transnational mobility programmes with EU and South-American countries.From 1998 to 2003 she worked at the National Resource Centre for Vocational Guidance (NRCVG) of the Euroguidance network that had been coordinated till then by the Emilia-Romagna Regional Authority on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Labour and managed by the organisation ASTER s. cons. p.a. in Bologna.

She carried out research and project management at a European level and she developed information and advice tools to support transnational mobility.

From 2003 to 2006 she kept on with the research and projects planning and management activities within ASTER s. cons. p.a. (Guidance and Employment Unit) where she was mainly in charge with guidance and ICT, guidance for adults and actions to improve the insertion into the labour market of disadvantaged clients.

She published a number of contributions in the above mentioned fields.

She worked for the Provincial Authority of Bologna – Employment Unit – from 2003 to 2004 where she was in charge with the coordination and qualitative monitoring of the pilot activity concerning specialistic vocational guidance and employment actions within the public employment centres of the Bologna province.

She collaborated with ISFOL – Accreditation Unit for Guidance and Employment Bodies – in order to frame the organisational model of guidance services within the employment centres of the Provincial Authority in Bologna. She taught both within the specialistic course “Guidance, ICT and Knowledge Society. Competence and Technology for the European Training System” organised by the University in Florence – Faculty of Educational Sciences – and within the “Master on Vocational Guidance” organised by the University in Santiago de Compostela (Spain) on the use of ICT for guidance and employment purposes.

CRISTINA COGOI

MARIA CHIARA VITA FINZI She carries out administrative and financial management activities in national and transnational projects.              From 2003 to 2006 she was the financial officer of projects carried out in the Guidance and Employment Unit of the organisation ASTER s. cons. p.a and she managed the allocation of financial resources of the Unit.She managed formal, administrative and account issues of projects and tenders financed by EC and national funding, including the relationships with providers and projects’ partners.
She is an expert in general and costs accounting and she taught for more than 10 years (till 2003) budgeting, management control and business simulation within the Europen net.She worked for the company Gemini S.c.a.r.l. from 1998 to 2003 where she carried out consulting activities to the company clients on issues concerning the project’s accountancy. In addition, she was in charge with the accounting, administrative and financial management of the company.

From 1986 to 1997 she collaborated with an university full professor in Economics for the consulting and extracurricular training in projects on the following subjects:  

  • Management control on traditional subjects and the logics for processes (ABM, ABC)
  • Budgeting and budget analysis
  • Privatisation of Healthcare and introduction of the economic and costs accountancy within the Health Agencies
  • Identification of the information and accountancy tools needed by the control authorities in order to audit financed projects (i.e. account through the financial statement)
