The focus in this conference is on guidance as a systemic entity which takes into account the services visible to users and the mechanisms behind the planning and managing those services in order to enhance congruence between strategic planning and the implementation of guidance and counselling services.

In this framework guidance can be seen as a chain of services and the responsibility of jointly shared by multiple providers.

The importance of service networks and networking as a developmental activity is addressed.

01/09/09 International conference EUCert – Eu Certificates

The European project EUCert, co-financed by the European Union within the Lifelong Learning Programme, Key Activity 3 ICT, is announcing the conference on EU Certificates.

Eu Certificates conferences have been organised annually since 2006.  These conferences promote and disseminate European lifelong learning qualifications and certificates in the area of IT services, engineering and manufacturing.

Competition ITWIIN 2009 – The best invention and innovation

Pilot post-graduate course in e-guidance

Pilot post-graduate course in e-guidance

On 21st March 2009 there will be the start-up of a pilot post-graduate course in e-guidance, organised by Melius srl (Italy) together with the Cattolica University in Milan – Cross Centre – within the framework of the project ICT Skills 2: ICT Tools and Training for e-Practitioners.

The project has been funded by the European Commission within the Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013, Transversal programme ICT. The project will last 2 years from 1st November 2007 to 31st October 2009.

The course will start on 21st March and end on 17th July ’09. It will be mainly organised on Saturday and few Fridays afternoons, in order to let workers to participate.

It will be delivered in blended learning and will have a total length of 750 hours, so organised: 110 hours of face-to-face learning by the Cattolica University in Milan, 190 hours of distance learning, 400 hors of individual learning, 50 hours of other type of learning.

At the end participants will carry out a test based on materials produced within the EC project ECGC – European Career Guidance Certificate

It will be addressed to Italian practitioners with experience in the guidance field, good knowledge of the English language (i.e. some trainers will be English speaking), basic knowledge in the use of the ICT (i.e. chat, newsgroup, etc.).

This study aims to provide a wider knowledge of youth labour-market trends and their evolution in order to adopt suitable correctives.
